My wheels will NOT come apart.

How to split and rebuild them. Where to find spares. Want gold bolts, wider rims, flat caps etc.

Ok, so my RS's will NOT separate. I've even tried heating the seals with a propane torch and still no luck.

WTF.

I had one RS outer half and center that would not come apart for the life of me! But for the other ones i used a rubber mallet, and a putty knife/spreader to help break the bond between the two. I wonder if you heat the putty knife up if it would help any? I also had an idea of maybe laying the half/center face down and pouring brake fluid over the seam and letting is soak. This stuff eats up everything else, why wouldnt it help loosen two pieces? Of course it would eat up the clear and paint up, but if they are getting refinished whats the matter anyways?

I like to flip the wheel upside down on top of a small block of 2x4 wrapped in a towel. Then try and stand on the outer lip while hitting the lip with a 10" piece of 2x4. Works good and no damage.

I put a couple pieces of wood on the face and hit it with a hammer. No damage to the wheels at all and you dont need to beat the crap out of them either.. just worked it carefully and they split no problem

I put mine in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes

Hit them with a rubber mallet and they broke apart rather easy.
