SELLER 'BANDITO', 'iROB' AND NOW POSSIBLY 'ULA' ON E38...

Postby Pete3690 » 12 Oct 2011 22:21

****Edit by mintdubs - 21ST NOV. 2011****

I had locked this thread because I thought we had seen the end of this guy, but I have stumbled across our friend Bandito whilst looking for rims on E38.

Now seems to be known as 'ULA' on E38, I believe this is Alexander who was registered on here as Bandito. And although he denied it completely, he is also selling the same OZ Vega Splits with black centre caps as seller 'IROB' who was banned a couple of weeks back...how strange.

So this is a heads up to all our members to watch out for this guy when buying your rims - he is pretending to be different people in order to carry on his trading and clearly has no concern for any of his buyers - BTW, Noel have you got this sorted with him yet?

Be aware folks, this is real world stuff and you need to use common sense when sending money to strangers.

hey guys,

having a problem with a seller on here, i know through a few forums its no topics on other members etc so il name no names...

basically, saw a set off BBS rm's, seemed genuine enough, im a bit of a noob (but people start somewhere hey) anyway, saw a set, got emailing and chatting with the seller, got some photo's of the stud pattern & BBS stamp to make sure they wern't reps, sold my wheels, Paid for these+tyre's+postage on 04/10/2011 but has put off posting, ive sent 3 emails yesterday & today to no reply, now ive given him the benifit of the doubt, sent him a message saying i need yo to commit to a date before the end off this week. Still no answer...

anyway did some searching on here came across this:

viewtopic.php?f=32&t=22182&p=186033&hilit=Bandito#p186033

FML, anyone else had any dealings other than those in the above thread?

If you paid via paypal or credit card then start the claim process asap (do not drop this case untill you have a refund or the wheels )
maybe pm famguy through here as it seems he went through something similar and may have some advice or contact details
?
good luck

Thanks, replied.

Im on my phone so any spelling mistakes etc wont show up so il appoligise now if certain parts sound retarded lol.

il say basically what i said in my pm, here, so everyone knows whats happening.

he has sent me an email with a tracking number, pdf file with the receipt and sticker. its for a courier service called lex systems, how good they are, i dont know. he said also the tracking number takes 24 hours to show up (i gave him until the 15/10 to post before i dispute it) so if when i try it later it doesnt work il dispute the case until either monday when the delivery company are open and i can get in contact to be 100% sure or if not until the wheels turn up at my door.

now when they do arrive i shall check each individual wheel to make sure theres no damage as i had sold my keskins, posted with paisley freight, they turned up at the guys house like this last week:

so i dont want another disaster

Right an update, he emailed me friday with a tracking number to a delivery company called Lexsystems, checked the tracking number etc it said "incorrect number" anyway, emailed the bloke, he said it should take 24 hrs to update it self, thought fair enough being a weekend, checked today, samething, so ive emailed Lexsystems, to no reply, ive now opened a paypal dispute, with a note saying "item's not arrived, been given a false tracking number".

so il cancel the dispute if the wheels arrive if not il get my money back :)

Hi man.

Sorry for the late reply, but I saw your PM today. I will write you an answer right away, and I hope you'll receive your wheels in the end. At least I did after xx emails + filing him a paypal claim.

I wish you luck
